Like all the different modules in Odoo, the Inventory module also shares an integrated framework with applications such as Procurement, Production, Distribution, Accounting, etc. that provide in- communication between those applications ' functions.

Procurement rule This rule decreases cost of storage by causing excess stock movement and thereby raising inventory rates. This law describes a basic measure of the goods / products to be transferred when stock amasses. The process is launched with a client order. 

Push Law Push law activates the movement of a specified quantity of product from source to destination location. They can be set either as manual or as automatic. 

The default routes in Odoo are; 

Drop Shipping: The products/goods are directly shipped from the vendor to the customer without any intermediary storage by the company. 

Buy: The product is purchased. 

Make-to-Order: A buying order is produced for a product to be sold regardless of the ‘ stock in hand' of the same product.
